Root Chakra Meditation with Malerie, 30 minutes (1/25)
Yoga Nidra & Meditation
•
32m
This is part one of an on going series of meditations that works it's way through all of the chakras. We'll begin with an option to take a restorative-esq pose to do the meditation from as a suggestion if you're looking for something a bit more supported but you can also sit, lie down or come into any other position you'd like for the meditation. We'll go through the energy and essence of the chakra, reflect on barriers to accessing it's balanced state, take pranayama to calm the nervous system, acknowledge bodily sensations tied to this energy, explore a personalized affirmation and end with silence to integrate and allow our subconscious mind to take over. You don't wanna miss these. It's a perfect pre journaling practice, used on it's own or to pair with a vinyasa practice of the same theme.
If you're going to want the restorative-esq pose for this one you'll need wall space and a blanket. You could even bring in blocks if you wanted. I'll tell you more in the video.

We change over time. We lose access to past versions of ourselves even though they all culminate to make us this version - who we are in this very moment. In this meditation we appreciate 3 different versions of ourselves while also working on releasing attachment to them.

Restorative Meditation with Malerie, ...
Let's get cozy and focus our mental energy. Our meditation asks us to sit with the reality of our bodies. What it is and isn't capable of, what it looks like and what it doesn't and more. We enter one pose, get settled and stay. You'll need two blocks, 3 blankets, and a bolster for class.
