We've been conditioned to not trust our bodies. It kinda goes like...
Tired? You don't need more rest but rather more coffee.
Feeling pain? It's nothing - it's in your head.
That desire you're feeling? You don't want or need that be strong enough to overcome it.
Uhhh. No wonder we doubt ourselves.
But how powerful would it be if you knew your body wasn't lying to you? You listened and honored it. Gave it rest and all the nourishment it needs when it needs it. Today we are invoking Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, who was born from his mother alone. May Ganesha aid us in trusting ourselves like we once did as infants. Grab three blankets, two bolsters and two blocks.
*The vinyasa section of this practice is not demoed.
