Durga Week 5 | Flow for Willpower
Guided by a Goddess, a 6-Week Series
•
27m
This is a heart opening practice, with an option to build up towards wheel pose, all about the willpower it takes to be kind and loving towards ourselves. We offer up negative habits to Durga and call her to aid us. Movement is done seated, lying down, on hands/knees and has two down dogs. You may like to have blocks and a blanket to add in where you need support or cushion but no props are required. I filmed this call in the rain and it felt so fitting for the energy of the practice. Like the sky was helping me release and grow something new and beautiful in a toxic habits place. Maybe if you can and it happens to be raining where you are when you watch this you let yourself have a similar environment. See if there’s a new perspective it brings you.
