Losing physical abilities whether due to injury, disability, aging, and/or lack of practice are inevitable in this human life. Today we focus on acknowledging how our body has changed so far in this life in ways that we probably fought against a bit. We reflect on what was so important about moving in that way and how we can channel that into new forms. We are working towards bird of paradise but lying down instead of how it's traditionally done standing. Grab two blocks, two bolsters, a strap and a blanket. Our sequence has very minimal standing with the majority done lying down and on hands/knees/feet.
