Mostly yin, today's practice starts with Restorative to settle us but moves into shorter layers of yin shapes to open the entire body. Have as many props as you can muster but at least two bolsters, 2 blankets, 1 block and 1 strap. Music for class - https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2JwgnaGXo0zG3ae70QMeEw?si=FdmjvkAJTLG7ouhHUUC-hA
Grab two blocks, a strap and a bolster....We'll be taking a journey through the hamstrings and side body to work into variations of Visvamitria's posture...building blocks include splits, twists, side opening and deep doses of humble pie :-0)
For tonite's practice we'll need:
two blocks, one strap, two blankets and a few pillows
We're working into visvamitriasana...a deep opener for side body, set to the soulful and rich music of Lianna La Havas. Just a bit of flow....followed by lots of savasana!
If you've had a busy day this practice is designed to help you settle by moving fro short to progressively longer restorative holds. We'll be working into front body expansion and the essence of willpower. Gather as many props are you can... Music for class? https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3PB...
