A deep dive inward. There’s a lot going on in the world and sometimes in the midst of big turmoil we lack the capacity to step away from the new, social media, etc. We’ve never lived in more of a time where it’s hard to step away. We are deeply neglected of space to reset our nervous system and be in this moment with the universe. Often we feel like in order to be good people we need to keep ourselves immersed in the collective trauma of the world in order to make a change and do good but being burnt out, immensely stressed and emotional gutted isn’t a place we often take action from. We withdraw in those states. Today’s practice is about giving yourself space whether that’s space to process or space with exist with the peace of nothingness. We begin with yin and wind our way into restorative.

Accessiblity: You need wall space, a bolster, two blocks and a blanket. If you have extra pillows/balnkets at home grab them. The more supported you are the better you will be serving your body. There is one option for a standing pose at the very beginning that's 2 minutes long but note that a seated version is given as well. There is also one kneeling pose held for 2 minutes per side and a gentle inversion of legs up the wall. The rest of the class is done seated/lying down with multiple variations of poses given to help find the right fit for your body today.
