Today Malerie brings in Sutra 1:17 & 1:18 to help you gain a better understanding of samadhi. She touches on the science of meditation and asks us to reflect on what we are practicing for with that information in mind. After our asana, which centers on the heart, we take a short meditation to witness the default mode network of the brain.
Accessibility: All movement is done seated, lying down and kneeling. Grab a blanket for class and have some wall space you can use nearby.
